Modern bungalow Zwolle

This modern bungalow in Zwolle exemplifies elegant simplicity with a clear architectural vision. Designed as a single-level residence, the home balances understated geometry with a rich material language. Natural stone plays a defining role in the façade, giving the design a sense of permanence and natural harmony that enhances its relationship to the surrounding environment.

Calm architecture and material balance

The bungalow’s design focuses on refined proportions and a serene spatial concept. A carefully selected palette of natural materials creates warmth and depth, while crisp white plaster surfaces provide a striking contrast to the deep textures of the natural stone masonry. This interplay between smooth minimalism and tactile richness results in an atmosphere of quiet sophistication, both contemporary and timeless.

Natural stone as a central element

A key feature of this project is the use of beige-tinted LAPIDE Bricks Matera MA16-20, applied across the façade to create rhythm, texture and architectural depth. The stone’s warm tones and subtle broken texture introduce a tactile richness that transcends its minimal form. Throughout the design, natural stone becomes a unifying element, anchoring the architecture in material authenticity and elevating the home’s overall aesthetic.
